It looks like sacked Telangana health minister and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender has decided to go aggressive against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leadership, apparently realising that he might lose ground in his own constituency if he continues to remain silent.

After meeting a cross section of leaders from various parties to muster their support, Rajender returned to Huzurnagar to pre-empt his supporters from lured by Gangula Kamalakar, who has been deputed by the TRS leadership to alienate them from him.

Stating that nobody can rule the state permanently, Rajender said the TRS would not be there in power after 2023.

“What you are doing now will haunt you then. You will have to face the same situation which I am facing now,” Rajender said, referring to Gangula but indirectly targeting KCR.

He said not a single leader who was displaying loyalty to KCR now had not come to the rescue of the party when it was in crisis.

“When we were all struggling to save the TRS from the onslaught of the Congress led by late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, where was Gangula and these so-called TRS leaders who are attacking me like wolves now?” he asked.

He said when KCR contested as an MP from Karimnagar in 2006, the voters did not succumb to money and muscle power of YSR and elected him with huge majority.

“The same thing will happen in Huzurabad. Even when the TRS lost in all the assembly segments in the 2019 assembly elections, it was Huzurabad which gave 54,000 majority to the TRS. The people of this constituency are highly intelligent and they will not succumb to your money and muscle power,” Rajender said.
