Despite repeated assertion by the Bharatiya Janata Party that there is no question of joining hands with the Telugu Desam Party again, party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has not given up hope to return to the BJP fold.<\/p>\n
Naidu indicated his mind in this regard once again while participating in a discussion on the topic: \u201cTimes of Transformation: The Need to Keep Fighting,\u201d conducted by Republic TV channel, known for its pro-BJP stand, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
When asked whether the TDP would support the NDA if such a situation arises, Naidu said he would always support Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisions for the country\u2019s development.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is only a matter of time that the TDP would join the NDA,\u201d Naidu said.<\/p>\n
The TDP president showered praises on Narendra Modi and said both of them were on the same page with regard to development of the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cI completely in sync with the vision of the Prime Minister. He is working for the development of the country and I am striving for the development of the Telugu people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Naidu made it clear that he was ready to work within his limitations along with the Prime Minister in tune with the latter\u2019s line of thinking.<\/p>\n
\u201cModi is displaying to the world what India\u2019s strength is. He is leading the country with a vision to make it a super power,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Asked why the TDP had opposed Modi in the past and come out of the NDA, the TDP president clarified that even in the past, he had not opposed Modi\u2019s policies.<\/p>\n
\u201cI came out of the NDA only on the issue of special category status to Andhra Pradesh, which had become a sentiment in 2019.
