With the conclusion of polling in Andhra Pradesh, speculation is rampant regarding the 2024 General Elections. Many predict a sweeping victory for the TDP-BJP-JSP alliance, with betting activity across the state reflecting strong confidence in the alliance’s success. Regions like Nellore, Bheemavaram, and Kadapa have become hotspots for betting, with wagers focusing on the number of seats the alliance will secure and their winning margins.
The odds heavily favor the alliance candidates, while bets on YCP candidates offer high returns, signaling a lack of confidence in the ruling party’s prospects. Bheemavaram has seen betting amounts soar to approximately Rs. 150 crores, predominantly favoring the alliance’s victory. Popular bets include the number of votes Sharmila will secure in the Kadapa Lok Sabha elections and the majority for Raghu Rama Krishna Raju in Undi. High stakes are also placed against Nara Lokesh’s performance in Mangalagiri, with odds offering five rupees for every one rupee bet on his loss.
Overall, betting activity in Andhra Pradesh has reached its peak, with most wagers favoring the alliance candidates, indirectly indicating a strong belief in their substantial victory.
