Kcr trying hard for PM

There were times when KCR struggled to mobilize money, even to cover petrol and diesel expenses for vehicles used during party programs when he launched TRS in 2001.

Although the financial condition of TRS later slightly improved between 2004 and 2014 due to the Telangana statehood agitation, the party had no cash reserves or assets, except for Telangana Bhavan, the party’s state head office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The land for Telangana Bhavan was allotted by the late Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy during his tenure between 2004 and 2009.

However, TRS’s financial condition experienced a complete turnaround after the formation of Telangana State and when KCR became CM in June 2014.

Today, TRS, which has changed its name to BRS, is one of the richest political parties in India, on par with national parties like BJP and Congress, within just nine years of coming to power.

While BRS claims to be a national party, it remains a regional party confined to Telangana. The party’s cash reserves in banks have now reached Rs 1,300 crore, generating Rs 7 crore in interest every month.

Additionally, BRS’s assets have witnessed a significant increase over the past nine years. The party currently possesses a land bank of hundreds of acres in all the districts of Telangana.

These lands are located in prime areas in all district headquarters, acquired at the rate of just Rs 100 per square yard.

Not to mention the valuable lands in Hyderabad, where KCR recently allotted 11 acres of costly land in Kokapet worth nearly Rs 600 crore to BRS for just Rs 37 crore.

In May last year, KCR also allotted a little over one-acre land in costly Banjara Hills for the construction of BRS Hyderabad district office, worth over Rs 100 crore, for just Rs 100 per square yard.

Furthermore, KCR laid the foundation for the construction of BRS Party’s Institute of Excellence and Human Resource Development, spread over 11 acres in Kokapet.

KCR has also constructed a BRS office in the national capital, Delhi, which was opened last month.

BRS offices have been established in Nanded and Aurangabad, with plans to open a party office in Mumbai. These offices in other states are also owned by the party, having purchased expensive plots.

KCR has plans to set up party offices in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh soon.

Currently, no other party in Telugu states possesses such a vast land bank and buildings as BRS does.
