BJP in fix for Lok Sabha bi-election ?
It is more or less confirmed that Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat will go for a by-election. Chief Minister KCR the other day went on to say he does not know if there will be a by-election and if there is one, TRS is going to win it. BJP is still not sure of its candidate. The party leaders are reluctant to contest fearing defeat. The party has approached three leaders and all of them refused. No one is coming forward even after the party offers to take care of the complete funding for this election. BJP had pinned all its hopes on actress Vijaya Shanthi who is still undecided. The saffron party is looking for a candidate with glamour quotient or strong caste vote bank. All the parties are going to take this election seriously since it is a virtual rehearsal for 2019.
