CBNAmaravati, Andhra Pradesh – Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a comprehensive review of the ongoing development projects in Amaravati, the proposed capital city of Andhra Pradesh, earlier today. During the meeting, Naidu emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of key infrastructures and laid out his ambitious vision for transforming Amaravati into a cutting-edge, AI-driven city.

In his address to the officials, Naidu stressed the importance of completing the Amaravati Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) headquarters within the next 90 days. Recognizing the symbolic and practical significance of the CRDA, he urged all departments to prioritize the project’s completion. The Chief Minister also directed that jungle clearance work be expedited, noting that 190 machines are currently deployed in the process, with 60% of the work already completed.

One of the key highlights of the meeting was Naidu’s directive to position Amaravati as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub. He envisions the city as a model of innovation, integrating AI technologies into urban planning, governance, and infrastructure development. To symbolize this futuristic transformation, Naidu instructed officials to design a logo that blends the essence of Amaravati with the cutting-edge nature of AI. This logo is expected to become an iconic representation of Amaravati’s new identity.

Naidu was clear in his message: there should be no compromises when it comes to the quality and technology used in building the new capital. He urged the CRDA officials to adopt the latest technological advancements in the construction process, ensuring that Amaravati stands as a beacon of modernity and progress. This approach aligns with his broader vision of making Amaravati not just the administrative heart of Andhra Pradesh, but also a global leader in smart city innovations.

In addition to reviewing the CRDA’s progress, Naidu also assessed the development of the Happy Nest residential community. This project, spearheaded by the CRDA, is designed to provide state-of-the-art living facilities within the capital region. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for robust guidelines to address and compensate for any setbacks caused by previous administrations, ensuring that the project moves forward smoothly and meets the expectations of future residents.

Naidu didn’t stop at Amaravati; he also reviewed the progress of the Metro Rail projects in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Recognizing the critical role these urban transit systems will play in the state’s economic and social development, he urged officials to accelerate their efforts. The Chief Minister’s commitment to infrastructure extends beyond Amaravati, reflecting his vision for a well-connected, efficiently run Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu’s vision for Amaravati as an AI-driven city marks a significant leap forward in urban development. By merging tradition with technology, Naidu aims to create a city that not only serves as the administrative capital but also as a global showcase of what the future of urban living could be. As the construction and development continue, all eyes will be on Amaravati to see if it can truly become the futuristic, AI-powered city that Naidu envisions.Read more
