I-PAC & PK – Who Is More Impactful?
Political Strategist Prashant Kishor meeting Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu the other day has created ripples in Andhra Political Circles. YSR Congress is taken back by a sudden shock and it is evident by their reactions. Prashant Kishor became a synonym for electoral success and the party he works for will have that advantage in creating perception. So, this is an advantage for the Telugu Desam Party.
The shock is so intense that I-PAC had to clarify that they were still with the YSR Congress. This has created confusion of sorts and some people even think the deal is not set between TDP and Prashant Kishor. But the real story is different. Prashant Kishor came out of I-PAC after the 2019 elections to try his luck in Politics.
Sources say that Prashant Kishor organized a new team for TDP and it has started working for TDP in the last three months. Now the real question is – Who is more impactful – I-PAC or Prashant Kishor? Prashant Kishor and I-PAC are likely to have similar working styles. The only difference that comes is due to the strengths and weaknesses of the client. I-PAC’s branding is all about Prashant Kishor because he is the face of the company.
There is a notion in the public the party Prashant Kishor works will win. Even though he said many times about leaving I-PAC. Nobody took it seriously until Prashant Kishor met Chandrababu and I-PAC gave a statement distancing from him. Public perception will be in favor of Prashant Kishor when it really comes down to the question – Prashant Kishor Vs I-PAC. If Prashant Kishor openly announces working for TDP, the winning perception will be with that party rather than the YSR Congress.
